4th Day - Our Lady Will Help You

“How we need Maria to teach us what it means to satisfy the thirsting love of God for us que Jesus came to reveal to us! She did it in a very beautiful way. Yes, Mary allowed God to take permission of her life by her purity, humility, and faithful love….Let us look to grow, under the guidance of our heavenly mother, in these three interior attitudes of the soul that are pleasing to God’s heart and allow him to unite himself to us, in Jesus and through him, and in the power of the Holy Spirit. And nin this way do it, like Mary our mother, let us allow God to take complete possession of our beings - and through us God will be able to extend his thirsting love to all of those with whom we have contact, especially the poor.”

“If we stay with our Lady, she will give us her spirit of loving confidence, total surrender, and joy.”

Thought of the Day:

“How close we need to stay to our Lady - who understood the profundity of the Divine Love that was being revealed while she remained at the foot of the cross and heart Jesus exclaim ‘I thirst.’”

Ask for the grace to learn from Our Lady to quench the thirst of Jesus as she did.

Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, you allowed the thirsting love of Jesus on the Cross to become a living flame within you, and so became the light of His love to all.
