Novena Beata Madre Teresa

5th Day - Trust Jesus Blindly

“Trust in the good God that loves us, that cares for us, that sees all, that knows all, and that can do anything for my well being and for the well being of souls.”

Love him confidently without looking back, without fear. Surrender yourself completely to Jesus. He will enable you to achieve great things with the condition that you believe much more in his love than in your weakness. Believe in him, turst in him with a blind and absolute confidence because he is Jesus.”

“Jesus never changes…Trust in him with love, trust in him with a big smile, always believing that he is the way to the Father, he is the light in this world of darkness.”

“We have to be able to raise our sights with all sincerity and say ‘I can do all things in He who gives me strength.’ By this affirmation of St. Paul, you should have a firm confidence doing your work - or better said, the work of God - well with efficiency, even perfectly, with Jesus and for Jesus. Convince yourself, also, that you by yourself cannot do anything or have anything that is not sin, weakness, and misery; that all the gifts of nature and grace that you possess you have received from God.”

“Maria can also show us this abundance confidence in God accepting that He use her for his plan of salvation in spite of her nothingness. She knew that he who is powerful could do great things in her and through her. She trusted. One time she told him “yes” - and that was it. She never doubted.”

Thought of the day

“Trust in God can do anything. What God needs is our emptiness and smallness, not our fullness.”

Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, you allowed the thirsting love of Jesus on the Cross to become a living flame within you, and so became the light of His love to all. Obtain from the Heart of Jesus (here make your request). Teach me to allow Jesus to penetrate and possess my whole being so completely that my life, too, may radiate His light and love to others. Amen. Immaculate Heart of Mary, Cause of Our Joy, pray for me. Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, pray for me.
