We make ourselves worthy to possess him when we abandon ourselves to him in a supernatural way. True love is surrendering yourself. The more we love, the more we surrender ourselves.” “You often see cables lined up, small and big, new and old, cheap and expensive. Unless and until there is a current passing through them, there will be no light. The tables are you and I. God is the current. We have the power to let the current pass through us, to use us and produce the light of the world - Jesus; or to deny using us and allow the darkness to extend. Our Lady was an amazing cable. She allowed God to fill her until her limits, in such a way that by her surrender - Be it done to me according to thy word - she was filled with grace; and naturally, in the moment that she was filled with this current, the grace of God, she went with haste to the house of Elizabeth to connect the cable, John the Baptist, to the current, Jesus.” Thought of the day “Allow God to use you without consulting you.” Ask for the grace to surrender all of your life to God. Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, you allowed the thirsting love of Jesus on the Cross to become a living flame within you, and so became the light of His love to all.
