Novena Beata Madre Teresa 7th Day - God loves a joyful giver “To bring joy to our own soul, the good God surrender himself to us…. joy is not simply a cuestion of mood. In the service of God and souls, it is always difficult - with for this reason we must try to obtain it and and make it grow in our hearts. Joy is prayer. Joy is strength. Joy is love. Joy is a net that you can catch many souls with. God loves a joyful giver. A joyful giver gives more. If in your work you have difficulties and you accept them with joy, with a big smile, in this, like in any other thing, others will see your good works and glorify the Father. The best way to show your gratefulness to God and to the people is to accept everything with joy. A joyful heart is the normal result of a heart that burns with love.” “Without joy there is no love, and love without joy is not true love. Because of this, we need to bring this love and this joy to the world today.” “Joy was also the strength of Our Lady. Our Lady was the first Missionary of Charity. She was the first to physically receive Jesus and bring him to others; and she went with haste. Only joy could give her this strength and speed to go and do the work of a servant.” Thought of the day “Joy is the sign of union with God, the presence of God.
